If you are looking for antenatal breastfeeding support in West Sussex, my sessions are designed to help you feel truly ready for the feeding journey ahead. During our time together we cover the practical foundations of breastfeeding, including positioning, achieving a deep latch, understanding your milk supply, and what to expect in those crucial first days and weeks. We also explore any questions, worries or previous experiences you are carrying, creating space to work through anxiety or fears around feeding in a way that feels supportive and unhurried. Sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, and your partner is warmly encouraged to be involved, so that you both feel informed, prepared and ready to approach your feeding journey together.

Antenatal Breastfeeding Packages For Pregnancy & Beyond
The Mindful Start Package
In Person or Online- 1.5 hour home visit or online session at 36 weeks pregnant
- 1.5 hour home visit or online session within the first week of birth
- Telephone and text support for the first 3 weeks
The Mindful Start Package begins with a home visit at 36 weeks pregnant, welcoming your partner to join so that you can explore your feeding goals, build on your existing knowledge, and receive an honest and compassionate outlook on the emotional and physical reality of breastfeeding. Together we focus on preparing you both as a team, because successful breastfeeding is a shared experience and having a well-informed, confident support system around you makes a real difference. Your second visit takes place within the first week of your baby's arrival, picking up where we left off offering practical support with positioning, latch, posture and talking through any challenges during those tender and often overwhelming early days. From that point you have me at the touch of a button for three weeks, with support available via text, voice notes, photos and video calls, so that guidance and reassurance are never far away whenever you need them most.
The Mindful Transition Package
In Person or Online- 1.5 hour home visit or online session at 36 weeks pregnant
- 1.5 hour home visit or online session within the first week of birth
- Telephone and text support for the first 6 weeks
The Mindful Transition Package follows the same nurturing foundation as The Mindful Start, beginning with a home visit at 36 weeks pregnant where you and your partner can explore your feeding goals, build confidence, and receive an honest and heartfelt outlook on the emotional and physical journey ahead. Your second visit arrives within the first week of your baby's birth, offering hands-on support with positioning, latch, posture and any challenges that have surfaced in those first precious and demanding days. What sets this package apart is the extended telephone and text support, stretching across six weeks rather than three, giving you a longer period of consistent, accessible guidance as you and your baby grow into your feeding relationship. Those additional three weeks can make a profound difference, carrying you through the point at which many parents find feeding begins to shift and new questions emerge.
The Mindful Journey Package
In Person or Online- 2 x 1.5 hour home visits or online sessions first visit at any stage of pregnancy you choose and second visit at 36 weeks pregnant
- 2 x 1.5 hour home visits or online sessions within two weeks of baby's birth
- Telephone and text support for the first 6 weeks
The Mindful Journey Package offers the most expansive level of support, beginning wherever you are in your pregnancy with an initial home visit at a stage that feels right for you, followed by a second visit at 36 weeks to consolidate your preparation as your due date approaches. This early flexibility means we can begin building your breastfeeding toolkit sooner, addressing any anxieties, knowledge gaps or feeding goals with plenty of time and space to explore them fully before your baby arrives. Postnatally you receive two home visits within the first two weeks of your baby's birth, allowing for deeper, more continuous support during the period when feeding is most frequently established or disrupted. Alongside this, six weeks of telephone and text support ensures that as your journey evolves and new challenges arise, you are never navigating them alone.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the best time to book antenatal breastfeeding support?
There is no right answer, I work with parents at every stage of pregnancy. Many families find that booking between 28 and 36 weeks gives us the most useful preparation time, with enough space to explore your questions and build your confidence before your due date approaches. If you are earlier in pregnancy and already feeling anxious about feeding, it is absolutely fine to get in touch sooner. The most important thing is that you feel supported when you need it, not at a prescribed point on the calendar.
I am already doing NCT, do I still need antenatal breastfeeding support?
NCT classes cover education around birth and early parenthood, and their coverage of breastfeeding can give you a helpful introduction to the practical basics. My sessions offer something different; rather than a brief overview within a broader antenatal course, we spend dedicated time going much deeper not only on the practical foundations of feeding but on the emotional experience of it too. Anxiety, previous experiences, fears about whether you will manage, the pressure you might already be putting on yourself, these are things NCT does not have the time or space to explore, and they are often what makes the difference between a feeding journey that feels supported and one that feels isolating. Many of my clients come to me having already completed NCT and find the two complement each other well.
Is this support only for first-time parents?
Not at all. Many of the families I work with are expecting their second or third baby and carry complicated feelings from a previous feeding experience — grief, guilt, or a determination to do things differently this time. Antenatal support can be just as valuable, sometimes more so, when you are approaching feeding with a history behind you. Whatever your experience, there is space here for it.
I haven’t practiced mindfulness before. What happens in a mindful breastfeeding session?
Mindful breastfeeding support is different from other breastfeeding support because it is a 360 holistic approach to feeding. Sessions include guided meditation or guided relaxations, use of essential oils, affirmation writing, breathing techniques and exploring the mind/body connection of breastfeeding. It is about supporting you to relax and feel grounded whatever stage of your feeding journey.
Can breastfeeding support help with anxiety or emotional overwhelm?
Yes. Feeding challenges often affect emotional wellbeing. Mindful breastfeeding support acknowledges the emotional load of feeding and offers space to feel heard, supported and less alone alongside the practical elements of support. It focuses on the mind/body connection and how this balance is key to a successful and enjoyable feeding journey. Mindful breastfeeding utilises guided meditation, relaxation, breathing techniques and affirmations all of which support with anxiety and/or overwhelm.
Can my partner be involved?
Yes, and I actively encourage it. Breastfeeding is a shared experience and having a well-informed, confident partner alongside you makes a genuine difference to how supported you feel in those early days and weeks. Partners are warmly welcome at all in-person and online sessions.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. I understand that investing in breastfeeding support is a real consideration, particularly at a time when so much else is being prepared for. If you would like to spread the cost of a package, please do mention this when we speak on our connection call and we can put a simple arrangement in place between us. Payment can be made in installments by bank transfer or direct debit, and the details will always be agreed with you before anything is confirmed.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
I do and I can’t think of a better baby shower gift or gift to new parents! To purchase a gift voucher please pop me an email and we can go from there.
What are the next steps to working with you?
The first step is a free 15-minute connection call, which gives us the chance to talk through where you are, what you are hoping for, and which session or package feels like the right fit. There is no pressure and no obligation, it is simply a conversation. You can book your call directly using the button above.

"Since meeting with Adele I feel better equipped to deal with the emotional challenges of breastfeeding and through this I think I am more likely to meet my goal of breastfeeding until I choose to stop, rather than feeling like I have to stop like last time. I also feel confident that Adele is the right person to support me with my feeding journey when baby arrives, and it is making a huge difference to my anxiety knowing I have this wonderfully skilled woman in my corner!"
