Adele Moore
Mindful Breastfeeding Practitioner
Breastfeeding Support in Chichester, Bognor Regis and surrounding areas
Since having my daughter in 2022 and breastfeeding for 3.5 years (and counting!) I have experienced first hand the incredible gift of antenatal and postnatal breastfeeding support, this paired with my own experiences, helped me decide to become a qualified Mindful Breastfeeding Practitioner through the Mindful Breastfeeding School led by Anna Le Grange. I am so passionate about providing the essential support required to help you begin, establish, sustain, wean from and finally conclude breastfeeding at a pace that feels right for you and your baby. Sadly, so many families are failed in this area of antenatal and postnatal care; I aliken it to being asked to drive a car with no driving lessons, we cannot expect parents to thrive without the necessary support required to learn this new skill.
I am dedicated to supporting parents with compassion, knowledge, and calm. With focus on the mind/body connection, through gentle guided relaxation and meditations, practical support and mindfulness techniques, I help navigate you through the different stages of feeding with confidence and connection. So, whether you're preparing for the first latch, facing challenges along the way or would like to reflect on your feeding journey(s), I’m here to hold space for you.
I am also passionate about supporting parents experiencing breastfeeding grief and/or trauma, shedding light on paternal mental health and reaffirming the importance of the paternal role supporting a woman during matrescence. I offer packages or single sessions all of which can be offered in person (if you live in the catchment areas) or online. I also offer gift vouchers; breastfeeding support is a wonderful gift for a baby shower or as a welcome gift for the baby once they arrive.

Preparing to breastfeed
Preparing to breastfeed is about so much more than technique. I offer gentle, personalised support to help you feel emotionally and physically confident before your baby arrives, using mindfulness tools and body awareness so you have a foundation of calm prior to starting your feeding journey.
Support once baby is here
The early days with a new baby can feel both beautiful and overwhelming. I help you navigate the emotional and physical reality of breastfeeding your baby, blending practical and emotional guidance to help you find your rhythm. Whether you're working through a tricky latch, managing discomfort, or simply needing someone to talk things through with, I'm here to help you feel steady, supported, and more at ease in your feeding relationship.
Weaning - Introducing Solids
Moving into weaning doesn't mean your breastfeeding journey has to end. I support you to introduce solid foods alongside breastfeeding in a way that feels manageable and gentle, looking at how feeding frequency may shift, how to protect your milk supply, and how to feel confident through every stage of this transition.
Returning to work whilst breastfeeding
Returning to work whilst breastfeeding is a significant transition, and it is completely normal to have questions and worries about how it will work. I offer dedicated support to help you feel informed and more prepared, covering everything from your legal rights and employer responsibilities, introducing a bottle to planning your pumping schedule and protecting your milk supply. Together we also explore the emotional side of being away from your baby, so you can approach this new chapter feeling confident, connected, and ready.
Weaning - Reducing Breastfeeding
Choosing to reduce or stop breastfeeding can bring up a complex mix of emotions, whatever the reason behind it. I offer compassionate support to help you navigate this transition at your own pace, drawing on mindfulness to help you feel grounded and informed as your feeding relationship evolves. Together we look at managing changes in milk supply, supporting yourself and your baby through the shift, and honouring the feelings that come with it.
Weaning - Ending Breastfeeding
Whether you have breastfed for one week or four years, the end of your feeding journey deserves to be met with warmth and care. I offer nurturing support to help you navigate this final transition, using mindfulness techniques to create space for whatever feelings arise as you move through it. Together we look at the practical side of reducing feeds alongside the emotional experience of letting go, so that however your journey ends, you feel truly held and at peace.
Breastfeeding Reflections
Your breastfeeding story matters. Whether your journey was recent or years ago, these sessions offer a safe space to reflect on your experience and process any grief, loss, or unresolved feelings that remain. We gently explore what your journey meant to you, acknowledging that breastfeeding grief and trauma are more common than many people realise, and that no matter why/how your feeding relationship ended, the love and effort at the heart of it was always enough, Mama.

"We put so much effort in to preparing for baby - but what we often need as mothers is that investment in and support for ourselves. I would highly recommend Adele to anyone looking to feel empowered, held and supported as they prepare for their feeding experience with their baby. All my concerns were addressed and Adele went above and beyond my expectations, equipping me with techniques, knowledge and my 'toolkit' for breastfeeding."
